Leopard Print PR founder Vanessa Munnings has been named PR of the Year 2021 by freelance platform Yuno Juno, after having been nominated by a client.
Vanessa said: “I don’t ever remember having won a professional award before and so I was delighted and felt very flattered when I found out that a client had nominated me, and I was one of five shortlisted PRs in the UK.
“I think I was in shock when they announced my name at a virtual ceremony this week. What an absolute honour to be PR of the Year!”
She added: “I have worked on a wide range of client accounts in various different sectors over my years in PR, having started my working life as a local reporter in Cambridgeshire.
“Highlights are many, but have included jetting around the UK in a helicopter with what was then the biggest boy band in the UK to taking a Radio 1 DJ and national journalists around a condom factory in Bangkok! Not every campaign is as high-flying as those two, but every single one is just as rewarding in its own way.”
