With the bubble tea phenomenon continuing to gain momentum in the UK, new opening Paeonia in Windsor is already proving to be a sure-fire hit.
Formally opening to the public in October, Paeonia is bringing premium bubble tea to the town with a range of customisable tapioca sensations.
For the uninitiated, bubble tea is a tea-based drink served cold, hot or iced (most popularly the latter) with chewy tapioca bubbles providing a glorious and moreish mix of textures.
Bringing something new to Windsor’s bubble tea scene, all of Paeonia’s bubble tea is made using a Teapresso Machine imported from Taiwan – the first UK shop to use this piece of equipment. The process features a multi-section infusion stage, allowing the tea to brew to optimum temperature, before the tapioca balls – or popping balls and other toppings – are added. Unlike other bubble tea shops, every bubble tea at Paeonia is made to order, ensuring better flavour, freshness and taste.
Paeonia is the latest venture from acclaimed foodie Anh Pham, who has spent the past decade working in the UK’s hospitality industry. A tea lover with a strong passion for food and beverages, Anh has tasted bubble tea all over the world and set about creating her own recipes – unlike anything currently on offer in the UK.
Bringing a high-end experience to Windsor, guests can expect premium bubble tea inspired by the flavours of Taiwan.
Served in a stylish surrounding and taking cues from its name, the visually-stunning shop features pretty floral decorations and chic lighting, culminated in a contemporary, up-market space. Nestled in the heart of Windsor, next door to Windsor Royal Station and a two-minute walk from Windsor Castle, Paeonia is ideally situated for locals and tourists alike.
An Instagrammable haven for tourists and locals alike, Paeonia’s bubbling teavolution is set to be a popular tour de force when it opens.
